Challenge

A convenience store chain needed fast, around-the-clock service to help maintain and troubleshoot HVAC/R system problems for more than 60 stores in the Midwest. Refrigeration failures in food cold storage bins, beer caves, drink coolers and freezers were causing product loss. Installation work needed to occur during off-peak hours.

Solution
Throughout the installation process, Perfection provided temporary cooling storage when necessary to prevent product loss. A preventative maintenance program was established to reduce service calls and component failures on all HVAC/R systems. The Perfection team provided a 24/7 response time of less than two hours for all stores in the service coverage area

Results
Perfection’s solution helped reduce energy costs, repair costs and total service calls. Product loss was reduced to below 5% for the region. The projects were completed on time despite tight deadlines, and counter sales were not affected by installation.
